Providing services to persons with disabilities and reduced mobility: for aircraft and baggage handling staff

This course covers the handling, loading and unloading of equipment used by persons with disabilities and reduced mobility, and fastening of such equipment in an aircraft, as well as supervision of the service procedure.

Purpose: to teach participants to recognise and identify various types of disabilities and associated equipment used by PRMs, to correctly load, store, and unload the equipment, and to properly load the equipment in aircraft cargo compartments to prevent damage to the equipment at any stage of the service.

  • Having completed the training, participants receive a certificate, which is valid for 2 years.
  • Enrolment in the recurrent training is possible within the last 3 calendar months before the initial certification expires. If the employee has been absent for 6 to 12 months, they must undergo the recurrent training; for 12 or more months, they must undergo the initial training.
