RIX Training Centre offers more than 160 training programmes in key aviation fields such as aviation security, ground handling, aerodrome servicing and crisis management, providing training to more than 15 000 aviation specialists every year. All our training managers and instructors are aviation professionals with international certificates confirming their qualifications. One of the key advantages of RIX Training Centre is its capacity to deliver training in Latvian, English, and Russian.
RIX Training Centre provides professional training to Riga Airport staff, employees of the companies and partners operating at the Airport, and specialists from various Latvian and foreign companies working in the aviation industry or other fields.
Training programmes consist of theoretical and practical parts. Theoretical training is provided by RIX Training Centre instructors, while the practical part is taught by experienced and certified employees of Riga Airport. To make the training more effective, it is conducted in specialised training spaces that simulate the actual working environment.
Currently, there is particularly high demand for RIX Training Centre’s customised training courses for non-aviation companies, such as X-ray operator training in mail handling, logistics, and security.
In 2017, RIX Training Centre became an official training centre of Airports Council International (ACI – Airports Council International). Working in conjunction with ACI, we offer internationally recognised aviation training courses in Latvia which are appreciated and used by industry professionals from all over the world.
